Here is my desktop in all it’s geekness.

What you see here is a combination of background image and automatically generated text embedded in the background using Geektool.

If you look closely (with a magnifying glass), you may be able to spot:

• Working analog and digital clocks
• Weather updates from Yahoo weather
• A list of IP addresses my computer is establishing connections with
• My own IP (blurred)
• Battery power (in my laptop)
• Uptime and RAM usage
• What’s playing in iTunes and how far along the track is
• Current network upload and download rates
• Wireless network name
• Recent Twitter feed
• Three sets of randomly generated numbers that automatically update every few minutes
